Bradford Jr- thank you for stepping up early in life and being a leader.  We are so proud of you.  The way you love your brother and sister has got to be one of your greatest accomplishments in life so far.  We sometimes say we don't always understand you since your father and I were not first borns in our family, but we embrace all that you have to teach us.  Your heart is so tender and the way your pray for the orphans each night has got us all on our knees.  Big things coming for you bud! Love you!

Catch up! Christmas and Winter!

Man- I dropped the ball with blogging!!  I am going to attempt highlighting some big events the last 9 months!  First up our Christmas 2014!

We headed to Birmingham for Christmas.
Hampton was a shepherd and Bradford was Wisemen

Pretty great getting to be next door to these buds during the holidays

Girl Trip! (with MK)

In October , MK and I boarded a plane to Birmingham.  I spent two nights in Birmingham and  left MK at my parents house to head to Atlanta for a night. I went to visit friends and meet some new fresh born babies.  It was a quick trip but some sweet memories packed in.
On the plane ride there she did well until the last 10 minutes.  Little did I know it was her ears hurting because the plane ride back was a whole different story.
Playing the piano with Ma C
Ranger and Ma C took MK to Homewood Park one afternoon
Swinging at the cousins house

Loved meeting Laurie Ann and Rainer's new baby boys.  So much sweetness.
And of course loved spending time with their princesses

We met baby Davis for the first time too!  Loved spending time with his mama and catching up face to face finally!  Been way too long!
Love her like the little sister I never had.  I sometimes wonder what kind of sister I would have been... She had two older brothers and she always has the best things to say about being a little sister- I pray MK has the same kind of things to say!

Meeting the mighty Abram in Atlanta.
 And the sweet sweet Madelyn.

Snuck a night away with these busy mamas to do my two favorite things- Eat at Taqueria and shop at Anthro.

I definitely planned my trip around making sure I could go to JFBC before I left town. So good to go back and hear Bryant Wright.

Best part of my trip was seeing my nephew Graeme.  Love that boy to pieces.
MK was kind of a bully taking all of his toys.  We are working on that

 Headed home!
She screamed the entire plane ride and finally passed out when we landed.  I can't even believe it happened.  At one point the stewardess was walking her up and down the aisles but it only made it worse.  Nothing helped.  I love that the man behind me was like, "Mam, if you give her a pacifier that will help pop her ears and help her stop crying."  Right.  Thanks sir.

Whew!  Traveling is for the birds!!!

Thanksgiving 2014

We headed to Alabama to spend Thanksgiving with the Boney side.  It is 8 hours away and the car ride there was one I'd like to forget.  MK slept a total of 30 minutes and cried probably a total of 4 hours.  She was so mad that we had her strapped in her car seat.  We were thankful to arrive and see our cousins and grandparents!

This is from one of our stops- Mary Katherine kept leaning back every 5 seconds to get a kiss from Daddy.  One of the only sweet memories from that day.

I didn't take a lot of pictures but we did have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We headed up to Gilbertown and Lavaca to see both sides of family.
In Gilbertown with Mimi and Grandaddy

At the Lavaca gathering there was over 70 people!

MK all over the place in Lavaca on Thanksgiving Day.

After Thanksgiving Day, the girls headed back to Mobile with the littles and the guys and Little B and Quinn stayed back to go hunting! This was Little B's first experience.   Little B had a great time and still talks about going hunting with Daddy.

He loved sitting in the lazy boy with Pops- playing card games with Q and Dad- looking for the deer out of the shooting house- and going fishing.  Sure do wish we lived closer so our boys could enjoy going there to run free and do boy things!

Movie night every night at Camp Soos and Pops
