Preschool for both boys

Oh what a difference a year makes.  This time last year we were just getting over Hampton's salmonella and finding out he had an Immune Deficiency Disorder.  With tubes in and adenoids out in September 2012 and then being home bound for 3 months straight to try and get the little guy well for the first time in his life- the formula worked!  Here we are a year later and Hampton is healthy and happy and sleeping. He has only been sick twice this year and has fought off two ear infections with only drops.  We continue to thank God for being with our family.

The boys had their first day of preschool on Thursday.  Both were as happy as could be- Hampton especially as he would always cry last year when we dropped Bradford off and he didn't get to stay.  We did switch preschools so they could both be at the same school this year.  Since Hampton isn't two until end of September- he wasn't able to start at the school Little B went to. So far we are really pleased with the choice of school.  Especially since drop off is as early as 7:30 so Daddy will be able to take them alot when MK is a wee babe.

The school playground has a bus and this is by far their favorite.

Exciting as both boys classrooms have dinosaurs.

Look at this cutie below.  I can't believe how big he has gotten.  And sweet.  I think we are almost passed the hard 3 year old phase as our sweet Bradford has been present alot these last few weeks.

Thankful for these next weeks to get the boys on a schedule before baby sister arrives!

Summer Catch Up!

Playing catch up as baby girl arrives in a month!  We've had a great but busy summer.  Here is a sum of it in pictures.

We are adding onto our house- a bedroom for MK and a back porch.  So far it has been a good experience and moving faster than expected. We should be moving into MK's room in a week!

Back yard...we've been locked out of our backyard for a month now- Biggest reason Bailey girl went to Birmingham for a few months....or for good :)

We had one rough moment when the window started leaking from the construction...

Both boys are taking swim lessons.  One week they got to have private lessons together- they were in heaven.

We are still dinosaur lovers- playing with them while we watch the construction workers.

For the 4th of July we went to Amelia Island- the Kangs met us and we had a blast!

Sweet boys.

Benjamin and Bradford got along so well.  The best of buds.

Of course we had to recruit a big group to eat Chick Fil A for free!

This is my dear friend Katie climbing up the Chick Fil A playground to rescue Hampton who refused to come down.  Never a dull moment.

Ranger is an awesome playmate. Here they are pretending to sleep. And yes, that is a fanny pack he is wearing.

Construction is entertainment for all ages.

Big B went before the City Review Board to get permission to build to the end of our property line.  We waited almost 3 hours before it was our case- our request was granted! Yay!

For Big B's 30th birthday we headed to DC for the weekend to spend time with the Farrells

Oh this girl.  How I love thee.

We stayed in an awesome hotel for Big B's birthday night, The Hay Adams.  This was our room view!

Ranger and Ma C kept the boys while we were in DC- we got this photo while away- the boys lived it up!

Throwing a birthday party for dinosaurs

The boys headed to Camp Soos and Pops for a week in August- they had a blast!

They baked cupcakes and Camp for Mimi's birthday
Loved getting these photos from Soos each day

Picking paint colors for MK's room

Dinosaur counting

Celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary

Hit up some bday parties

All smiles with Ma C and Ranger

Daddy surprised us with breakfast to celebrate our anniversary- he even made the boys Mickey Mouse pancakes!

We've done alot of baking this summer...

And this...

Bradford went to camp at his school- they had themed weeks- this was Rodeo Week

And sadly- Hampton had a big hair cut.  I miss his hair.

I am really looking forward to the upcoming weeks: boys start school, Auburn football, and MK arrives in a month!   Hope to be better about updating the blog more regularly.
