18 month videos

I can't believe Little B turned 18 months last week! He is so much fun right now as each day he learns more and more. I decided to take a few videos to remember the words he is saying and what his personality is like so far. I also thought that the grandparents that are visiting next month should be prepared for our little talker. My favorite line right now that he says is "Hold you" and he sticks his arms out and tilts his head. My back has not been doing so well so when he asks for me to hold him I have encouraged him to hold something. So now he says, "Hold you Aubie" or "Hold you fish" or Hold you baby." He is really into listening to what words we are saying and then saying them back. He is starting to test the waters and we are trying to nip the "bad attention seeking behavior" in the bud. I was curious to see if my teacher look would work on him and for the most part it is working. Little man definitely has his sinful moments that remind me that he is not and will never be perfect- but I am thankful for Hubby and I agreeing and talking through how we want to handle discipline in our home. Trial and error seems to be our philosophy right now!

1000. for an Almighty God who I continue to learn more and more about each day and the love He gives me daily

I made it to counting 1000 gifts! I started counting my blessings on February 7th so it took me a little over 5 months! This list is so precious to me. It walked with me through some favorite times and some of my saddest and hardest times. From my 93 year old grandmother visiting to losing my three week old niece- this challenge helped keep me focus on Him- and to see His presence constantly around me.

Will I keep counting? Yes. Will I keep sharing them? Probably not. What will I blog about now? Who knows.

I really want to get my list turned into a little book for a keepsake for my family.

Thanks for taking the journey with me- my friends and family were a big part that kept me going- knowing I had made a commitment to share them each Monday made me write them down and make it a priority even when the going got tough!

961. for a successful haircut for B (I do it in the bath tub and always find out the next morning if it is decent or not!)

Our camera is broken at the moment so I have been using our old digital camera. I didn't take many pictures this week and am sad that I missed out on some funny memories. I did shoot this video of B and I's daily singing of the Auburn Fight Song. We really didn't mean for him to be this brainwashed this early.
