Hampton at 11 months

Hampton really thrived around 11 months old.    He is sleeping through the night.  He was healthy for 3 weeks straight. We met with the ENT a few weeks back and found out Hampton needs tubes in his ears and will also get his adenoids out.  His surgery is next week.  Prayers are appreciated.  The doctor said for normal babes the recovery is three days, but given Hampton's past, let's give him a week.  I could only laugh that the doctor that I had met only once knew to go ahead and lengthen the expectations with Hampton.

He is a little under the weather in these pictures...hints the breathing out of the mouth...
This outfit is special as Mrs. Wilson gave this to him when he was born.  It's a 12 month outfit so I've been waiting a while to wear it and take pics in it.  Perfect timing for football season- even though our team isn't so hot this year.

Now to the fun part of Hampton.  He is hilarious.  He makes us laugh all of the time.  From his grunting when picking up heavy things, to him screaming at his brother when he doesn't get his way, to him pointing and telling you where to carry him.  He also LOVES LOVES LOVES Bailey.  He climbs all over her.  He stays at the back door while she is outside.  He loves to chase her and find her throughout the day. When he says Bailey it sounds like, "AILEEEE."  I remember Little B liking Bailey but nothing near this obsession that Hampton has.

Hampton is running now.  Though he falls alot- he went from steps to running.  Forget learning to walk.  He also can get himself back up to standing position without having to pull up on anything.

He's all over the place

Eating spaghetti for the first time...devoured it

He loves doing his tongue like this

A few new things too- Hampton got a haircut (by me) and Hampton got his first tooth!  He had one pop up a week after he turned 11 months and the second one came in a few days ago.
