Mary Katherine's 1st month

Our sweet girl is one month old today.  Her stats at one month:
10 lbs 4 oz (80%)
Height- 21.2 in. (55%)

Love getting to look back and see what the boys were doing at her age.  They were both over 10 pounds too.

Here is Bradford's one month picture and stats
Here is Hampton's one month picture and stats

Mary Katherine is sleeping in the rock n play as she has reflux.  She started on medicine for it at 3 weeks old and it has helped tremendously.  Took a few days to kick in which sent me to my knees and I thought she maybe colic.  Baby girl was just in pain.

Had my own little photo shoot when she was a week and a half while the boys were at church.  My mom made this day gown

Little B asks to hold MK each day.  The first few times he would hold her for a while, but now he only holds for a second and then says, "All done now"
Hampton has warmed up to MK and loves to kiss her feet.  He's been sick almost the entire four weeks with runny nose and cough.  In Jesus name continue to surround MK from sickness.

Mary Katherine cried her first 3 baths.  By night 4 she was calm and now enjoys it.  She bathes every night at 6:30 and then is in bed by 7 or 7:30.  She is doing a good 4-6 hour stretch after this.  We've been able to go to a friend's birthday party and to small group all without missing a feed.  Thanks MK for giving mommy this early gift.

This picture is her at 4 weeks- her first hair bow

And here she is in her monthly chair picture like I did for the boys wearing one of my baby outfits

This month has been challenging but super sweet as we adjust to having three kiddos. Hardest part has been getting used to functioning on little sleep but still keeping up with the daily grind.  Dear friends have been bringing us meals for dinner and that has been our biggest blessing as we have no time to cook or even grocery shop.

Mary Katherine has all of our hearts and we are looking forward to our second month with her.

Mary Katherine's Birthday

She's here and were are so so so in love.
Born September 18, 2013 at 10:02am
Weighing 8 lbs 14 3/4 ounces
21 inches long

Little B was so proud

This picture sums up the boys visit to the hospital- Bradford all about MK, Hampton all about the toys MK gave them
He did give her a kiss before he left

And we're home. Sure do miss the ice at the hospital but the revolving door of people in and out that could care less what time of the day it is- well I don't miss them one bit.

Prep for MK

Well, baby girl has hung in there(or mom has) and made it to her scheduled C-section.  Family comes in town tonight, the house was just cleaned, mama got a pedi and even got her hair done.  I think all prep that could be done has been done.  Including a little "sprinkle" and her nursery!

Thankful for these friends to put together a small get together to celebrate MK.  It was a special night and somewhat of a blur. It didn't exactly feel real getting to open gifts for a baby girl- thankfully my bf Amber took beautiful photos so I can remember.

These two out did the word for sprinkle as I made it very clear I didn't want them to go through alot of trouble- they are knee deep in the trenches too. But no one listened to me. They had so many sweet touches that really pulled my heart strings.  Love these ladies fiercely!

(please notice the cup of SONIC ice  in the back ground- my biggest obsession this pregnancy- ICE)

My two favorite cakes in Tampa- Lindsey Darnell's homemade, Alabama Cheesecake and Wright's chocolate, chocolate cake

Look at the sweet monogrammed cookies

Love this!

Elizabeth gave MK an accessory box with bows, sunglasses, and a pink tutu

MK's bf, Vivian, came to the sprinkle too which made it extra special.

It was a wonderful night and I continue to thank God for the women he has placed in my life down here.  It's cool to see the way we were meant to be here to make these wonderful friends that encourage, support and spur us on in our faith each day.

Below are Iphone pics of the nursery so far.  All that is really missing is a rug and it comes in Friday. I have had so much fun decorating this room and am thankful that we got to reuse all of the furniture from the boys nursery including the bedding- just a new crib skirt. I am so glad we picked a beautiful crib for Little B that makes a sweet girl crib too.

The room feels special as it has alot of Nanny in it.  She bought the crib for Little B and the dresses in the shadow boxes were ones she picked out for me- Nanny picked out the two pink ones.  Feeling very connected to her lately- especially since she had two boys and then my mom.  I can only imagine her thrill of having a baby girl.

Daddy B hung up the curtains- thankful we have an IKEA 10 minutes away to provide the 99 cent curtain rods and 3 dollar rings.

The white dress on the left was my christening dress.  The pink outfit in the center is the outfit I came home in from the hospital.  The pink on the right was my first Easter dress.  I have had several friends ask if MK will wear them since they are hanging up- yes, they are just pinned so I will just take it down for the day.  These dresses were too precious to just hang in a closet!

Bought this piece for Hampton's clothes but now he and Bradford's clothes are in wire racks in their closet- so MK gets this piece.  It is from a consignment store and has missing knobs- but I love it.  Nice that the only furniture we bought was the day bed for this entire room.

The boys love playing in her room- the glider got a good cleaning and looks and feels brand new.

MK's bathroom

Yummy day gowns made by Ma C.  Can't wait to see her in them!

We are ready to meet you Mary Katherine.

Hampton's almost 2!

Hampton isn't quite two years old yet but we went ahead and celebrated him.  One of his favorite things to do is play with the pretend birthday cake and sing Happy Birthday and blow out a candle. He ate up every minute of his party and knew it was his day.

We didn't do a theme but knew Hampton would love a Dinosaur cake and the stegosaurus is his favorite

We had it at the YMCA since our house is still under construction.  The kids ran wild in their gym area.
 Sweet boy was so happy

Miss Jamie came to celebrate him as she'll be helping me with the boys the first few weeks after MK arrives.  She took care of Bradford when Hampton was born and I am so thankful her schedule worked out again so she could help us.

It was a great time and I am so glad we did it early.

In other news on Hambone being two- He has been sleeping in a big boy bed since July. He started climbing out of his crib in June, moved him to a pack n play that he couldn't climb out of for a while- but he was more than ready for a big boy bed.  He loves it and stays in his bed until we come and get him(our biggest rule in our house- no getting out of your bed unless mommy or daddy comes and gets you).  The boys sleep in the same room for the most part at night- some nights when Little B is exhausted or when Hampton is waking up due to teething or being sick- Bradford will sleep in the guest room where he naps.  They both ask to sleep together each day and night though.

Little B picked out this dino tent to give to Hampton for his birthday

They are the best of buds and it is one of the sweetest thing I have experienced.
Hampton continues to love school- He is dirty everyday that I pick him up and has no shame. I am loving the boys being at the same school!
Hampton has been really into "mamama"We'll see how he does when baby sister is here.
