In the Fall Little B joined his first organized team- Little League T-Ball. We were excited about starting in our neighborhood league but we completely forgot the first practice. We forgot several Monday afternoon practices during the season. Very thankful it was a laid back team and alot of grace was given. Hopefully it was a lesson learned and we will be better about our commitment- or at least remembering!
Little B's favorite part of the whole thing was wearing his uniform. He also liked being the pitcher, hitting the ball and playing first base. He made friends fast with a boy named Henry(the coach's son). Daddy was an assistant coach so it was fun to see them out there together and to keep him in line. This kid has a lot of energy! Hampton loved going and watching brother- mainly because they let him have a team snack after the game and he got to play on the playground afterwards with his brother.
At the end of the season we had the team over to our home for lunch and a little ceremony to get their trophies. Little B was WAY excited about getting his first trophy.

Our Lady
We welcomed two girls into our family in 2013. MK was a day old and we were still staying at the hospital when Big B went to an Urban Young Life training meeting to get paired up with a high schooler to mentor. It was placed on both of our hearts as we had watched some of our best friends mentor a high school guy. We saw that it not only made a tremendous impact on the teen but also on their small children and family. It was a leap of faith as we weren't really sure what we had to offer especially with having a newborn. 15 months later we are forever changed and couldn't be happier about that leap we took. We shared our story about mentoring Lady at a breakfast fundraiser for Tampa Urban Young Life and the newspaper did an article too.

Auburn Trip
We took the boys to Auburn for the Homecoming game. We left Mary Katherine with a friend so we could really enjoy the weekend and do lots!
Gus Bus Driver passed out on the walk to tailgating!
Duke of Auburn was so excited to be with his cousins.
Gus Bus Driver ready to tailate.
Hampton got to go to his first game! He lasted about a quarter.
When we got home Big B went and bought a steamer so we could make our own Mama G's nachos.
We sure do love going to Auburn. Our boys really associate Auburn with their buddy Henry- that is where we stay and they love playing with him and his toys! I love spending time with his mama so it's a win win!
Preschool 2014
The boys had their last first day of preschool together. I'm really excited about this year for them and for myself! Bradford is in the perfect setting for his learning style and will be going 4 days a week Monday- Thursday. Hampton has the amazing teachers, Ms, Lia and Ms. Milly, (same ones Bradford had when he started preschool 2 years ago) and will be going 2 days a week- Tuesday and Thursday. I'm thankful for the schedule to have Fridays all home together. Below are some precious pics. Wish I could freeze this year and bag it up.
Joint Birthday Party!
Since we have two September's in our family we decided to combine MK and Hampton's birthday. It was a hit and it was so nice to knock them both out! We had over 40 kids and 20 adults!
Hampton loves the movie Planes Fire Rescue
She loved cake.
Lady's family gave her this stroller that is by far her favorite toy
So thankful to have both sets of grandparents in town to celebrate!
Ma C and Ranger
Soos and Pops
September will always be a fun but busy month for our family!

Mary Katherine's first year
What a year. We are forever changed and so thankful. I still can't believe she is here. I get giddy every morning before I walk into her room. She is a sweet sweet gift and we all love better because of Mary Katherine. I love the way her brothers interact with her. I will always remember the way she and her daddy have connected. As soon as he walks in the door she starts squealing, crawling toward the door and saying dada. I was able to nurse her up until she was one as she never did learn to love a bottle. She hasn't been on one antibiotic and has stayed healthy her first year. She wasn't a great sleeper but once we got settled in the new house she finally started sleeping 7-7. She still cries herself to sleep every nap and bed time. Her favorite thing to do is eat. She is an amazing eater especially compared to her brothers. She tries everything that is put in front of her. She has lived 4 places in her first year and only visited Alabama. We celebrate her birthday on Saturday along with Hampton's- trying a joint party- we'll see how that goes!
