Auburn Fun

Our one and only trip to Auburn this year has come and gone. Lots of firsts came with this trip: first plane ride, first boat ride, first teething symptoms, first tailgate, first meeting people. He didn't go to his first Auburn game but maybe next year. Soos kept him at her friend, Jan's condo( thank you Jan and Soos- you guys are the best).

He did great on the plane!
We headed to Lake Martin on Friday to spend some time with the Lamberths! This was Kasi last weekend to travel as she is due in 4 weeks!
B wasn't too sure about the boat ride...
Thanks Libby for letting us borrow your pink car :)
There were ducks in the pool!
He loves the water
Hank going over the players morning of the game
Hanging out with Aunt Casey before we headed to Auburn- Kasi L- how did I only get one picture of you the entire weekend!

The tailgating begins! My mom made this outfit for Quinn when he turned one!
The Gross twins! Too cute!
Abby Jane sat along side to hear Soos read. B squealed the whole time!
Turner Bug! One of the many names your mom calls you!
Meet John Burke- Bradford's future roomate at Auburn!
The Hendersons! Where do I start on how this picture makes me feel- OLD.
What a stud Q is! This should be the cover of the football program.
Aunt Sara! With a little Boney in her belly!
Clay and Sarah came for a visit! Had to see their favorite son!
My two favorite boys. Can't believe Q is this big!
The sweet Hostetler's took little B on a walk while they toured campus! Thank you!
Little B passed out for a bit! His cheeks were so red!
Caroline came to tailgate for a bit!
Caroline was on the move!
She took him down. They have so much fun together!
The Atlanta Crew! Glad to have the Hostetler's on Auburn's campus- too bad there orange is for Clemson. Can't wait for baby Lamb to be here!
Baby Addison!
Look at the cute dress! We had a wardrobe change by this point.
I love this pic- Addison is like "Why in the world are you squealing?"
Aunt Jenn got some time near the end of the tailgate. Loved seeing you and Jerry.

We had a great time and wish we lived closer so we could do it more often. The game was awesome- I still can't believe we won! I enjoyed a night with Big Bradford knowing little one was in excellent care! I didn't get any pictures of Pops- but he was busy cooking and taking pictures too! I am a little sad that my phone died and I didn't get to see some others! I could list about 10 people that I know were in Auburn- I thought we would have walked around more- but every time we started to leave- more people came- so we just stayed at the tailgate all day.

The rest of the weekend we spent with my family and got some QT together. Lots of laughing!

Got to get back to work- cutting into my hours! I do love blogging as I love going back and remembering fun events and looking back at how our first one has grown so fast! However, finding time to do this is a challenge! Good thing my boss is really nice.

The Quilt

Today we got a very very special package!

The Quilt

"The Quilt" is something that Soos makes (Bradford Sr.'s mom) for every grandchild. For the first grandchild, Quinn, it was a big secret as it takes many many months to make. Not sure but I think little B's quilt took over a year to make! Soos appliqued this "B" on by hand. It is a big B. We have seen The Quilt numerous times and little B even played on it in Mobile. However, Soos wanted it to be perfect- and PERFECT it is! To make the quilt even more special, Soos typed the sweetest poem to go with it. I hope I can hang on to the poem for a long time- but if not- I am putting it on the blog so we will have it forever. Thank you Soos for taking the time to make our little one something so special. We know the love you put into it and he will feel it during all of his adventures with it!

The Quilt

The poem Soos wrote..love it.
The back of the quilt is tan and white stripe= the inspiration for his room of stripes
Yes, my "mother in love" is one talented woman! Sara and Lindsey are expecting their third so I know she is already brainstorming ideas for baby b's quilt!! Can't wait to find out what they are having!

What's new!

Lots of new going on at the Boneys!

Bradford's new friend came over twice this weekend! Once with his parents and once without! His parents got tickets to the Bucs game so we gladly watched Noah while they enjoyed themselves. They are in the same boat with no family close so we were happy to help! Noah is 4 days younger than Bradford. His blue eyes are gorgeous! Got some cute pics of them!

Hanging out before dinner Saturday night
Bradford gets so hyper when Noah is here!
Hanging out Sunday with Noah
Also, here are some new additions.

Door to Bford's man room
Yes, a secret door :) Major man dream.

Diaz the deer finally has a permanent home!
Bradford always wanted a map of the world with push pins of where he has been
Love this window seat
Little Bradford's new swing!
He loved it!
Thank you Daddy for setting it all up!
New painting! We found a local artist, Terry Klaaren and commissioned him to paint this. He built the frame as well. We are really pleased!
Fireplace is looking good! Love my new bench too!
We are headed to Auburn for the Clemson game! Can't wait to see some of your faces! I also can't wait to see my Mom and Dad! It has been WAY too long!

Naples!

War Eagle! As I write this I am snuggled up, in a sweet hotel room enjoying watching the game and downloading some pictures! I wish I had more time to blog but little man isn't so little anymore and free time for me doesn't seem to exist anymore! First 6 months I felt like I had so much free time on my hands!

We are in Naples and having a fabulous time! We got a two bedroom condo so little guy has his own room which I am learning is a must when traveling! This place has an awesome pool area with a lazy river and is on a canal with little shops below it. Since it isn't "season" we got a really low rate. The rates don't go up until October. September is looking to be my favorite vacation month!

View from our hotel room
One of the four pools
He loved the water!
Laid back!
Eating out at Bonefish- under our hotel
We are everywhere in the hotel room
Auburn PJ' on
Put him in the bath while I got ready!
Pics from our sweet but short visit over Labor Day with Soos and Pops!
Loved all of the attention from his grandparents!

Hoping Auburn can pull off a win and if I can ask to win by 21 so the hubby will be happy!
