We are officially two weeks away now from meeting Hampton. We had a little scare on Friday as I started having contractions in the middle of the night- but they ended up being false and we are back to feeling like it will be a while until he makes his arrival. I am kind of glad we had the scare as it made us start to prepare for Hampton. We put the carseat cover back on all washed and new looking, we packed our bags, charged cameras, packed a snack bag and made a list of things to pack in case I go into labor before my scheduled C-section. Though I cannot wait to meet him and become a family of four- I have found myself enjoying this time with how simple one child is and how much freedom and flexibility I have. I told the doctors not to check me as I don't want to mess with him-- he can take his sweet time- there is no rush! Plus I want the guy to bake as long as he can. Here are some things we have done to prepare for Hampton.
Things are packed and ready to go!

Bradford's crib is now Hampton's though Bradford is still using the bumpers....
Hampton's room! I will switch the glider from Bradford's once Hampton starts sleeping in his own room

The "H" pillow that I splurged on! Of course I had to order a "B" one too- how cute will they be when they share a room!

Bradford's new crib- a generous neighbor let us borrow it! It has a white antique finish and I love it!

He loves it too! Thankfully we had just switched the cribs last week before the stomach bug hit- the silk bedskirt was spared from ever getting thrown up on it! Whew!

This is where Hampton will sleep for the first few weeks while our help stays in his room- he will have sweet dreams of the country

The past few months we have practiced putting things "to bed" before nap- Aubie and Duckie probably think it is their bed

B loves to pull out Hampton's clothes
Thanks Soos and Pops for Hampton's baby book! I loved this little book for Bradford and was excited to get another one

Check out Hampton's closet of clothes compared to B's closet when he was born
I think I counted 11 outfits compared to the 30 something hanging up now--lots of Ma C's hard work over the last 20 months!
Also, I have been working on doing activities in my bedroom or on my bed to help prepare B for being content with staying still for a while. I have a feeling we will be in my room alot as I nurse and pump. Coloring has been his highlight. I ask him who he wants to color a picture for and he always says- "Daddy"

Hampton boy we will see you in two weeks or less! What will you look like and what kind of baby will you be?! I know you are being made perfectly for our family!
