Our sweet little Hampton has turned 6 months! This boy has the sweetest smile...and can give some of the best cuddles I have ever experienced. But he struggles. Man does he struggle. Needless to say- Hampton is going through a tough time..not as tough as the meningitis weeks, but this is close to it. The ear infection he got last week didn't help, neither did the 11 hour car ride to Birmingham, nor the congestion in his nose and chest nor the amoxicillin that stopped him up. Poor guy- he is waking up many times at night and screaming. Whew- though we are tired, I am amazed at the patience and strength the Lord provides. He is with me during these hard nights. Thankful for the answered prayer last night at 3 am- H was able to put himself back to sleep after screaming for 36 minutes. First time folks. I am experiencing the gut instincts and the calmness while H is screaming and can only praise my Maker for this gift. Prayers are appreciated for our Sweet Hampton.
